Anxiety & Depression
Everyone’s journey with anxiety and depression is different. My approach is to meet you where you are, supporting you in discovering the insights and solutions that feel right for you. Whether it’s exploring underlying feelings, developing new coping strategies, or simply having a space to share your story, my role is to walk alongside you in this process.
In my practice, I use a person-centered approach to counseling. This means that I see you as the expert of your own life. My role is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to explore your feelings, experiences, and challenges at your own pace.
Anxiety and depression are two of the most common mental health challenges, and they can profoundly impact your daily life and emotional well-being. If you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, or both, know that you are not alone, and support is available.
Anxiety can feel like an overwhelming sense of fear or nervousness, often accompanied by physical symptoms like a racing heart, restlessness, or trouble sleeping. It may affect how you engage with the world, leading to avoidance or a constant sense of worry.
Depression can manifest as persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or disconnection from the people and activities that once brought you joy. It may feel like a weight that’s hard to lift, affecting your energy, motivation, and outlook on life.
